I grew up with a camera in my hand and would much rather be outside than almost anywhere else, so naturally I found a way to turn those two things into an actual career. Very convenient of me, I know. These days, I get to photograph people on some of the biggest days of their lives, travel to some wildly beautiful places, and call the mountains home.
When I’m not behind a camera, life is usually some combination of rom-coms and romance books, a good backpacking trip with the girls, and actually getting plans out of the group chat. I’m also a certified beverage goblin (just ask my friends) and rarely have fewer than three drinks within reach at any given time—coffee, water, something fun. That’s how you’re supposed to do it, right?
I’m equally happy disappearing into the mountains for a few days or driving to the city entirely because there’s somewhere I want to eat—balance, obviously. Throw in a road trip, some live music (because no money spent on live music is wasted), a thrift store I absolutely did not need to stop at, bringing home yet another houseplant, and my dog tagging along whenever possible, and that’s pretty much me.
